Israel has intensified its attacks on southern Lebanon after ordering tens of thousands of additional residents to flee their homes or face death. With its latest order targeting all areas south of the Zahrani River, Israel has declared some 14% of Lebanon’s territory as a combat zone. The expanded forced evacuation orders include most of Tyre, Lebanon’s fourth-largest city. Meanwhile, Israel’s latest attacks have killed at least 14 people, including several children.
