The Center for Media Education has put together a 12-step program for Media and Democracy. It maps out what citizens can do about the growing commercialization and conglomeration of the mass media. The 12-step program is an outgrowth of the Media and Democracy Congress which Democracy Now covered in early March. The list was recently published in a special media edition of the Nation magazine.
