Sharpton Criticizes Dean Over Race Issues

In the Iowa Brown & Black Presidential Forum last night former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean came under criticism from the Rev. Al Sharpton who claimed Dean had not hired any people of color to fill senior policy positions during his time as Vermont governor. Sharpton said “It seems as though you discovered blacks and browns during this campaign.” Dean responded “I beg to differ with your statistics.”
