In Philadelphia, hundreds of supporters of death row prisoner and activist Mumia Abu-Jamal rallied on Saturday to mark the 25th anniversary of his arrest for the murder of police officer Daniel Faulkner. Abu-Jamal was convicted for the killing in 1982 but has repeatedly proclaimed his innocence.
