Texas Authorities Launch Criminal Probe of Fertilizer Blast

HeadlineMay 13, 2013

Authorities in Texas have opened a criminal probe into the fertilizer plant explosion that killed 14 people last month. The blast had been treated as an industrial accident up until the investigation was announced. A paramedic who helped with the initial rescue effort has been arrested on charges of possessing materials for a bomb, but his arrest has not been tied to the explosion.
