Human Rights Watch has accused Israel of illegally shooting and killing Palestinian civilians who were attempting to flee. Witnesses described a series of incidents late last month in the southern town of Khuza’a where Israeli troops opened fire on civilians who had been ordered to leave homes where they were sheltering.
