On Tuesday, Obama also commuted the sentence of retired U.S. Marine Corps General James Cartwright. Last year, Cartwright admitted he lied to the FBI during an investigation into who leaked classified information to The New York Times about Stuxnet, a secret U.S. cyberwarfare operation against Iran. We’ll have more on the commutations of Chelsea Manning and Oscar López Rivera after headlines.
