Hi there,

I believe that people who are concerned about the climate catastrophe, economic and racial justice and war and peace, are not a fringe minority, not even a silent majority, but the silenced majority—silenced by the corporate media. That's why we have to take the media back—especially now. But we can't do it without your support. Thanks to a group of generous donors, all donations made today will be DOUBLED, which means your $15 gift is worth $30. With your contribution, we can continue to go to where the silence is, to bring you the voices of the silenced majority. Every dollar makes a difference. Thank you so much!

In Hollywood, Hundreds Join #MeToo March Against Sexual Assault

HeadlineNov 13, 2017

Meanwhile, in Hollywood, California, hundreds took part in the “Me Too Survivors’ March” on Sunday. Participants included 21-year-old Tara McNamara of Los Angeles.

Tara McNamara: “Every woman in my life that I’ve ever known has been sexually assaulted or sexually harassed. I’ve been sexually assaulted. I’ve been raped. I’ve been sexually assaulted multiple times throughout my life. It’s affected me in every like aspect of my life. It’s given me major depression. I always have tried to speak out about these things, and there’s always been kind of this awkwardness around it or hesitation with people to speak about it. This is really cleansing.”
