The march demanded justice for a 22-year-old Black man who was allegedly raped with a police baton by an officer after being arrested in February. The man, who is known as”Theo,” was hospitalized for two weeks related to the injuries sustained in police custody. One police officer has been charged with rape, and three more have been accused of assault.
