In Boston, fans at a Red Sox game unfurled a giant banner Thursday over the famed Green Monster outfield wall reading “Racism is as American as baseball,” where it remained for a few minutes before Fenway Park security guards removed it. In a statement to The Washington Post, the fans behind the banner drop described themselves as a group of white anti-racist protesters.
