Environmental groups and scientists have repeatedly condemned Trump’s attacks on the environment, which include leaving the Paris climate agreement, cutting clean water and air protections, and promoting coal production. Last year saw a hike of 3.4% in greenhouse gas emissions—the biggest rise since 2010.
