WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was released from the Belmarsh Prison in London on Monday after he agreed to a plea deal with U.S. prosecutors in order to avoid a U.S. prison sentence. He is flying now to Saipan, where he will appear in court on Wednesday. He is then expected to return home to Australia.
