Harvard Sues Trump Admin for Freezing Federal Funds

HeadlineApr 22, 2025

Harvard University is suing the Trump administration after it froze over $2 billion in federal grants for the Ivy League institution. The freeze came after Harvard refused to comply with the White House’s order on eliminating DEI and further suppressing pro-Palestinian protests. Garber warned, “The consequences of the government’s overreach will be severe and long-lasting.”
