Ayman Safadi
He hired Jill Carroll for the Jordan Times when he was editor-in-chief of the paper. He is now editor-in-chief of Al Ghad newspaper, also based in Amman. Carroll worked there for a year and learned to speak Arabic before moving to Iraq shortly after the U.S. invasion in March 2003.
