Leticia Ramirez

One of the riders on the “No Papers, No Fear” bus tour. She got on the bus in Phoenix, Arizona, where she is a member of the Puente Human Rights Movement. The day beforehand, she and three fellow undocumented immigrants were arrested outside the trial of Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Ramirez came to the United States with her family when she was nine years old, and now has three U.S. citizen children.
