Join Amy Goodman for her conversation with David Walmsley, editor-in-chief of The Globe and Mail, as she discusses media coverage of the U.S. election, America’s role in international conflicts, and the challenges and successes of running an independent news show. There will be an audience Q&A after the discussion.

This event is part of a national speaking tour marking Democracy Now!’s 20th anniversary and celebrating the acclaimed television and radio news program Democracy Now! and the extraordinary movements and heroes who have moved our democracy forward.

Amy Goodman will be available after the talk to sign copies of her new book, Democracy Now!: Twenty Years Covering the Movements Changing America, co-written with her brother, journalist David Goodman, and Democracy Now! colleague Denis Moynihan. Moynihan will join her at the signing.
