Last month, international attention focused on Philadelphia, where a black woman named Bridget Ward was the target of hateful and racist vandalism when she moved with her two children into Bridesburg, an all white neighborhood. Statistics show, however, that hundreds of these incidents take place in Philadelphia each year.
