This Saturday, perhaps the most powerful and diverse mass gathering of people of this decade took place at the Lincoln memorial in Washington D.C — The Stand for Children March organized by the Children’s Defense Fund. A rainbow of people came together to show their personal commitment to their children and all America’s children, but it was also a rally to demand that politicians and leaders on the national, state and local levels change their priorities and Put Children First.
